I've been playing this song nonstop since @aramideogedengbe mentioned she went to their concert. I love it so much. And it totally describes how God pulled me out this time last year and showed me love. Believe me when I tell you that God's love is overwhelming, never-ending and reckless.

Hi! I actually thought I notified the authorities here that I was going to Orientation camp, but reading through now I see that I didn't. I wonder what my punishment will be. I did as promised. I wrote everything that happened to me and several others at camp. And I am prepared to pour it all out. It was a bit awkward at first, having to write instead of type . I have some 13 pages to type for y'all, so be patient. I got back on Monday, and it was a relief that I was finally home. I could not breathe properly due to severe catarrh, I was coughing from deep within my chest, my headache was now a normal occurrence, the gums on the right hand side of my jaw were swollen, and my body was extremely weak, but I was home. I was in my father's house, finally. Today's Wednesday, and I am finally able to chew, but I thank God. I'll be back.........Soon.

NYSC: Finally got a job

I have finally gotten a job. In fact, I resumed on Thursday. And I was relieved, because the state director himself announced that if a corper was not posted by the second week of January, the person's file would be sent back to Abuja (head office) and remobilized (which means, reposted to another state, another job etc). I got posted in the second week. Thank God. On resumption, i was woken up. Yes I mean figuratively, not literarily (gotcha, Xi!). I thought I had knowledge - a passing knowledge of some processes, until I was given a sound lecture on what technology is all about RIGHT NOW. I am still in the Jurassic era, and I shudder to think of all the sleepless nights ahead of me, while trying to catch up with the rest of the world. I hope Vicky will not suffer for it - as in communication and everything, because, as I see it, no more late night calls for me. Here is a recap of the relevant part of my answer below: My dad was the last of four kids by his mum, and while he was still a toddler, his rich and influential dad changed towards them all, refused to send the other kids to school and focused on his younger wife. So they all had to do odd jobs to even survive. My dad barely finished primary school as a result of this. His eldest sibling, also male, was way older than him, so he had finished his education before all this, and was working at the Seventh-Day Adventist Hospital in Ile-Ife , Osun state, Nigeria .
